This came in a bid for the restoration of peace and stability in the state capital after the youths protest over the death of young illegal miners in the custody.
Apperantly, the curfew was imposed as authorities moved to restore calm and prevent further unrest after residents took to the streets following the deaths of the 37 illegal miners in NSCDC detention.
Earlier, the unrest was directly linked to the deaths of the suspected young illegal miners in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC).
