NKADA EXPRESSES SADNESS OVER TRAGIC DEATH OF 37 ILLEGAL MINERS IN NIGER STATE

The leadership and entire members of the National Kakanda Development Association, (NKADA), has received with deep sadness the tragic news of the death of thirty-seven illegal miners while in the custody of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps in Minna, Niger State.
This is contained in a sympathy message signed by the NKADA President Doctor Umar Musa Apataku and Secretary General, Yakubu Mustapha Bina in Minna, calling for a transparent and fair nvestigation into the incident so as to enhance justice.
The statement stated that at this painful moment, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Niger state Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago the Government and people of Niger State, and, most especially, the families and loved ones of the deceased.
According to them, the loss of thirty-seven lives is a deeply painful tragedy and very unfortunate, adding that our thoughts and prayers are with those affected.
The entire NKADA Community pray that Almighty Allah forgives the deceased, grants them eternal rest, and gives their families the strength and patience to bear this great loss.
While also prayed Allah to grant Niger State peace, comfort and protection always.
