Suspected Bandits Bomb Bridge to Disconnect Communities in Niger State

Suspected bandits have reportedly bombed down a bridge between Wawa and Luma road in Borgu local government area of Niger state.
It was reliably gathered that the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday, the attack on the bridge has disconnected people movement from one town to the other.
According to sources, the Babanna major border market that holds every Monday has now been crippled down due to this ugly act of the bandits this Monday morning.
However, Borgu and Agwara local government areas of Niger state has been under attacks for several months without reasonable counter attack to curb the persistent insecurity bedeviling the communities.
It was also gathered that between Nuku and Woro a vehicle stepped on IED planted by the terrorists and all the occupant of the vehicle were killed.
There are no official statement issued by the Niger state government and security agencies on the incident as at the time of filing this report
