Suspected Cultist Arrested with Pistol, Military Materials in Niger State

Niger State Police operatives attached to ‘B’ Division Bida while on routine patrol arrested one Agada Isaac a.k.a Tee-light 30yrs of a lodge around Federal Polytechnic Bida.
The Niger State Command, Police Public Relations Officer PPRO SP Wasiu Abiodun in a statement issued in Minna,
Said the suspect was observed on a motorcycle approaching a temporary Police checkpoint in Bida.
According to him, on sighting the Police operatives, he stepped down from the motorcycle and took to his heels which raised a strong suspicion.
The suspect was arrested and during the spot search, he was found with a Baretta pistol. In a further search of his residence, a military camouflage cap, knicker and a jacket were recovered.
During interrogation, he confessed to having been a member of a cult group known as “Vikings” and he added that he bought the pistol from one Gideon a.k.a Starboy residing in Suleja at the cost of three hundred thousand naira.
He further claimed to be a photographer on campus and a friend gave him the camouflage. The suspect is under further investigation and effort to apprehend Gideon and other accomplices is in progress.
