CD-CSO Urges Opposition Political Parties to Form an Alternative Leadership ahead of 2027 in NIger State

Campaign for Democracy Human Rights Advocacy Civil Society has advised all opposition political parties to ensure unity of purpose to achieve common goal for mobilizing citizens with alternative emerging new leaders to compete favourably with the ruling APC in 2027 General Elections in NIger State.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the Niger State State Chairman and Secretary General of CD-CSO coalition Dr. Comrade Abdullahi Jabi, Comrade Tayo Ayobami and the PRO Alhaji Lawal Ibrahim after its Executive Committee meeting in Minna.
The CD-CSO coalitions also commended the Niger State Government relative performances and achievements in Governance by the stewardship of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago led APC administration in the past three years.
While encouraging the Government to do more pro-actively for the people in the areas of social welfare, improved Health-care, Re-building Education sector, Pension Matters, Massive distribution and supply of portable water, Constant Electricity, inter-modal Transportation services and Human Security, Safety of lives and properties of citizens to gain the confidence of the people, voters and Electorates as build up Campaign towards 2027 General Elections.
The CSO noted that Nigerlites are yearning for good governance and compassionate leaders with the fear of God and goal getter to ensure improvements in the quality of people’s lives and welfare of the citizens socio-economically to enable voters make up their mindset by taken informed decision politically for public good re-election in 2027 General Election.
That CD-CSO Coalition in partnership with Stakeholders, Communities Leaders, Professional bodies, Media are organizing town hall inter-face citizen’s participation and engagement with Governor Mohammed Umar Bago on account of transparency of his three years stewardship and achievements in public service delivery to the people, the events is slated for 19th November, 2026 at Minna, Niger State.
Similarly, Campaign for Democracy Human Rights Advocacy Civil Society also charged the federal government and its relevant agencies involved in the Osun governorship election should ensure a free, fair, transparent, credible electoral process with zero tolerance to election malpractices and violence during the poll.
It added that the Media/Press reportage should reflects “TRUE TO TYPE” Information sharing on the fields to members of the General public.
Campaign for Democracy with Coalitions of CSO said it’s providing opportunity for interested individuals, politicians that are Ideologically focus, Service oriented, Transparent, Credible, Honest and God-fearing generational leaders interested in elective public offices to use it platform for 2027 General-Election in Niger State.
