APC Representative Candidate Ado Salami Mourns the Death of  37 Artisan Miners in Custody of NSCDC of Niger State

The All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for Chanchaga Federal Constituency of Niger State, Hon. Adamu Abubakar Salami, has call for an independent investigations into the death of 37 artisan miners in the custody of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps on Thursday as he mourns their death.
Salami made remark in his condolence message, stressing that the investigation will ensure that those responsible  are held accountable for their actions and also mitigate against future occurence.
“I hereby extended his deepest condolences to the Niger State Government led by farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, Nigerlite, families of the deceased, and the entire people of Chanchaga over the loss of lives of miners” he stated.
He described the situation leading to the death of 37 miners as tragic, heartbreaking, and deeply painful, noting that the incident has cast a dark shadow over Minna and Chanchaga in particular.
The APC House of Representatives candidate expressed confidence that Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago will ensure that justice is served to the families of the affected victims, inline with the governor’s commitment to the protection of lives and properties of his citizens.
He then made a passionate appeal to residents of Chanchaga Local Government Area, especially the youths to remain calm, law-abiding, and peaceful as the state government is doing everything possible to ensure that justice prevails.
The APC House of Representative Candidate said campaign activities will remain suspended until after the mourning period of three days, as a mark of honour to the deceased.
Hon. Salami prayed Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of those who lost their lives, grant their souls eternal rest, and make Aljannatul Firdaus their final abode.
