Niger Organised Labour Leader Lafene Greets Teachers on World Teachers’ Day.

Comrade Ambassador Idrees Abdulkareem Lafene, the Organised Labour Leader in Niger State, has extended warm congratulations to teachers across the state and Nigeria on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day.
In an official statement released by his Media Aide, Muhammad Ndanusa Isako, Comrade Lafene praised teachers for their selfless dedication to nation-building and the development of future generations.
He commended educators for their sacrifices and steadfast commitment to the classroom despite challenging conditions, describing them as the essential pillars of societal progress and custodians of knowledge.
Highlighting the vital role of educators in nurturing future leaders and professionals, Lafene reaffirmed Organised Labour’s determination to collaborate closely with the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) to advocate for enhanced teacher welfare, improved working conditions, and quality education infrastructure.
”When we invest in teachers, we invest in the future of our children; when we strengthen education, we strengthen the nation,” Lafene stated.
He praised the NUT for its persistent advocacy for the teaching profession and called on all key stakeholders including government bodies, parents, and civil society to foster stronger partnerships toward building a resilient and sustainable education system across Niger State and Nigeria at large.
