Niger State Police Command Arrests 12 Miscreants for Thuggery, Recover Weapons

Niger State command Police operatives attached to Chanchaga Division stormed some identified blackspots around Angwan-Dakoko, Angwan-Kwakwa, Angwan-Gwari with the midnight and twelve miscreants were arrested.

This is contained in a statement issued by the command Police Public Relations Officer PPRO, SP Wasiu Abiodun in Minna, said that the raid led to the arrest of one Victor Solomon a.k.a Tumbeleke bearing one sharp dagger, and Osama Saidu Baushe with one sharp sword.

Similarly, Police operatives attached to Maitumbi Div arrested a notorious armed robbery/house breaking suspect, known as Yusuf Musa of Angwan-Kadara, Maitumbi. During interrogation, he confessed that he conspired with one Danjuma of Dana area of Maitumbi, and broke into a house behind Dana where they carted away.

Those items includes: One smart TV, One orthopedic bed, 17pcs of new shirts,

11pcs of trousers, 5pcs of caps, Bed sheets, Extension sockets, 3kva generator, Shoes, pressing iron, Iron rods, solar street lights and cameras.

Abiodun noted that effort is ongoing to apprehend Danjuma and recover the stolen items while all the arrested suspects are in custody for further investigation and prosecution.
