Governor Bago Orders Arrest of Agitator of Water, Power Supply Provision

Governor Mohammed Umar Bago has directed the arrest and detention of one
Abdullahi Hamisu Suleja after he shouted no light no water at the Eid-El prayer ground in Suleja local government area of the state.
It was reliably gathered that the detainee also interupted the Governor’s speech at the Emir of Suleja palace, were he further shouted ‘no light, no water’.
The Governor had joined the Emir of Suleja Alhaji Awwal Ibrahim and Suleja resident for his Eid-el -Fitr prayer and celebration when the incident occurred.
According to reports, Abdullahi Hamisu Suleja was identified by the Governor  and ask him to step forward after he obliged the Governor Bago however told him that issue of electricity is a company matter.
The governor then told the young man that he will teach him a lesson on how to approach leaders and subsequently ordered for his arrest and taken to Minna to be detained.
Some concern residents of Suleja Emirate council have called the state governor Mohammed Umar Bago to release the suspect unconditionally while pleading passionately to the Governor to ensure justice with mercy.
It was reliably gathered that since his detention at the police headquarters in Minna all attempts to bail him has not yielded positive response from the Nigeria Police Force alleging that until they get directive for the governor before he could be released or prosecuted
