The Expanded interface committee of Bida, Katcha, Gbako federal constituency has described the so called G-10 plan to endorse Saidu Musa Abdul SMA for the third term as illegal, unacceptable, and null and void.

The chairman of Expanded interface committee of Bida, Katcha, Gbako federal constituency, Alhaji Abubakar Katcha made this known while speaking to journalists in Bida after the committee meeting with the five aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Congress APC.

He revealed that the said G-10 is driven by Bida Agenda and not the reflection of Bida, Katcha, Gbako federal constituency stakeholders opinion or resolution. Adding that the step taken by the so called G-10 is rather very unfortunate, bad and uncalled for.

The committee chairman emphasized that only the consensus committee yet to be set up by the state government that have the mandate to select a consensus candidate for the party after its interface with the aspirants to broker peace between them.

Abubakar Katcha further disclosed that one of the G-10 members called to tell him that Governor Mohammed Umar Bago asked him to inform the interface committee that Saidu Musa Abdul SMA is the stakeholders candidate but when Katcha insisted to call the governor he retrieve his position.

He therefore called on governor Mohammed Umar Bago and the leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC in Niger state to urgently call the G-10 to order to avoid fueling crisis in Bida Katcha Gbako federal constituency to ensure peace unity and stability of the area
