Niger ADC Calls for Unity of Opposition Parties Ahead of General Elections

African Democratic Congress ADC has called on the opposition political parties to ensure there united ahead of the 2027 general elections to unseat the ruling All Progressives Congress APC led administration in the state and country.
The Convener and host of the Niger state ADC executives in a dinner reception by the former Minister of Sports Development, Barrister Abdulrahman Gimba gave the advice during his organized reception to honor the new party officials in Minna Niger state capital.
He said that Nigerians have seen a deliberate plot by the APC led administration to weaken the opposition especially the ADC but the hired agents to make other parties in disarray have failed as the party is out to defend itself for Nigerian’s.
Barrister Gimba who emphasized that the ADC will form the next government at all levels considering the current situation on ground across the country, adding that the party is the only alternative political parties that is ready to bring succour to Niger state and Nigeria.
According to him, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s led APC government is not ready to conduct elections, but the ADC must ensure they abide by the rules and constitution of Nigeria while advocating for the principles of participatory democracy by engaging the engine room of the party who should stand firmly, give appropriate directives to the proud dedicated fans of the ADC to ensure victory.
He tasked the party to get the rightful people as its candidates by selecting the best people to ensure the people’s choice emerged so as to achieve victory at the polls. While tasking for a formidable party structure at the local, state and national levels for the party success.
The ADC stalwart also called on the security agencies to be fair and just in the conduct of the elections, while on the peace pact he advocated that the security agencies must be signatory to the pact to ensure commitment in order to achieve the fullest implementation of the pact.
The Chairman , Niger State chapter of the African Democratic Congress ADC, Abdulhamid El-Waziri in an interview shortly after the reception, accused governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s led government of acute mismanagement of the state resources at the detriment of the masses, hence the ADC’s coming is the correct the anormalies going in the state for better service delivery in a transparent and accountable process.
He revealed that the party will surely form the next government because the electorates are fed up with the ruling APC government full of deciet, unfulfilled promises, insecurity, poverty, economic hardship and depravation, reassuring that the ADC will be victorious in the upcoming 2027 general elections.
El-Waziri maintained that undemocratic principles exhibited by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government has frustrated Nigerian’s, “emerging the president inviting the National Assembly Members to endorsed him for the second term in office at the presidential Villa was very unfortunate and uncalled for in a democratic process of governance”.
