Registrar of FUT Minna Involves in a Road Accident in Niger State Capital

The Registrar of Federal University of Technology FUT, Minna Malam Danladi has survived a car accident that occurred where one person died.
The accident reportedly happened on Sunday inside Minna town along IET New Horizons Road around Old Airport Quarters area the state capital of Niger State.
Sources however, confirmed that one woman identified as Aisha Ahmed died while two other persons were rushed to the nearby hospital for medical treatment and responding to treatment.
It was reliably gathered that the accident occurred following the tyre burst while the vehicle driving the Registrar of FUT Minna Malam Danladi was in motion, although he is said to be stable.
Eyewitnesses disclosed that the vehicle lost control got off the road, hitting the woman and a commercial motorcyclist. Adding that the woman was reportedly negotiating a fare with the motorcyclist to her destination when the vehicle rammed into them.
Residents and the passerby immediately evacuated the victims to Senator Idris Kuta Primary Health Care Centre in Old Airport Quarters, where the woman was later confirmed dead.
Apparently, the seventh FUT Registrar was also admitted in a hospital for treatment after reportedly becoming unconscious sequel to the shock of the accident.
Efforts to get the response of the relevant authorities on the development proved abortive.
