2027: Niger ADC Guber Calls on Electorates to Vote Out Gov. Bago for Deceit, Under Performance

The Niger state gubernatorial candidate of the  African Democratic Congress (ADC) Dr Mohammed Kpautagi Mohammed has called on the state electorates to vote out the ruling APC government of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago due to inexperienced, deep corruption, lack of transparency and accountability in governance .

Dr Kpautagi made the call during an exclusive interview with some journalists in Abuja, said that Bago’s consistent failure to follow due process, obey procurement laws, bidding process of contract awards and over inflection of contacts at the detriment of the mass is unfortunate and described as leadership failure on his part to provide the desire dividend of democracy to the people.
The Guber candidate reiterated the unwavering commitment of the ADC led government if elected as governor in Niger state, he will bring his worth of experience to bear in changing the narrative of governance to the benefit of all residents of the state within one and half year of his administration.
He pointed out that Nigerlites including the APC members are fed up with governor Bago’s leadership style of not listening to anyone and running his government with disregard the constituted authority while just a few click of individuals involved making ministries, agencies and parastatals including local councils redundant.
Dr Kpautagi maintained that he was not surprised of Bago’s failed governance because even as twelve years House of Representative member who representated just one single local government of Chanchaga he can not point at one major project executed as a lawmaker.
According to him, he will not disrupt the zoning formular as instituted by the founders, reiterated that the zoning will surely collapse one day but will never be under his watch as a gentle and respected Nupe man who knows the problems of the state with proffer solutions is coming for victory come 2027 election. Adding that he will sign an agreement with his successor from zone B after his four years single tenure if elected.
He hinted that Nigerlites have now identified governor Mohammed Umar Bago’s real personal especially the people of Niger South Senatorial District that he is actually from Zone B, adding that his claimed of Zone A was a big mistake and therefore has resolved to vote him out to pave ways for their own son from the zone.
The ADC Governorship candidate reassured the people of Niger state that he is fully in the race to rustle power for the ruling APC’s misrule, deceit, maladministration, unguided, insecurity decayed, selfish and poverty ridding administration of Governor Mohammed Umar Bago who embarked on several white elephant projects across the state.
He Reaffirmed that if elected in the upcoming 2027 general elections as the Niger state governor his administration will prioritize people oriented projects which includes: education, health, water supply, power supply, practical agricultural policies, infrastructural development, youth and women empowerment, decentralized government and ensure the autonomy of local governments but will be monitored and supervised to ensure accountability and transparency process.
Kpautagi further said that the present government lack of due process, violation of procurement laws, bidding process disobedience by the governor Bago’s administration will be a thing of the past considering his experience as a professional Town Planner and a retired director in the federal ministry of works if voted for in 2027.
He urged the Niger state electorates to ensure they voted for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) come 2027 general elections to enhance the provision of the required dividends of democracy and provide leadership with focus, integrity, maturity, inclusivity, respect the people’s rights and opinions in governance.
He also revealed plans to lead the reconciliation of the ADC aggrieved members to ensure unity, stability and indivisible party structures, while they are fully in touch with others to receive decampees majority from the ruling APC members ahead of next year elections in Niger state.
Dr Mohammed Kpautagi Mohammed noted that his team will soon embarked on a thank you visit to all the looks and crannies of the state, constitute reconciliation committee and form campaign council after the campaign embargo is lifted on 19th for the commencement of political parties campaign activities in the country.
