NDE Announces Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 3) Opens Registration Portal for Applicants

The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) has flagged off the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 3), the flagship employment creation programme of the NDE designed to equip unemployed Nigerians with marketable vocational, agricultural, entrepreneurial and public works skills, is due to commence nationwide.

This is contained in a statement issued that the Programme Schedule has opened its Registration Portal for interested applicants nationwide to apply as the National flag-off ceremony commenced on Tuesday, 4th August simultaneously across all states and FCT and Training for successful beneficiaries will commence nationwide thereafter.

The online registration portal for the recruitment of intending trainees will open on Thursday 23rd July, 2026, and remain open for one (1) week. During this period, interested unskilled and unemployed Nigerians between the ages 18 to 45 years are encouraged to register through the online registration portal to participate in the programme.

The official flag-off of the training component of the programme will take place on Tuesday,4th August, 2026, simultaneously across the 36 States of the Federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Training for successful applicants will commence nationwide immediately thereafter.

Applicants are strongly advised to carefully read and follow all registration instructions before submitting their applications to ensure a successful registration.

In line with the Federal Government’s commitment to equity, inclusion and balanced national development, beneficiaries will be drawn from every electoral ward across the Federation, including persons living with disability thereby ensuring that qualified unskilled and unemployed Nigerians from all parts of the country have equal opportunity to participate.
