Outbreak of Strange Disease Hit Bandits Camp in Niger State

A strange outbreak of disease has reportedly hit the bandits camp in Niger State, worsening conditions in the hideouts and affecting their operations recently according to findings.

Sources revealed that the outbreak, coupled with shortages of food, funds and medicines, is hitting hard on the armed bandits.

It was gathered that the development has created internal pressure and weakened their operational capacity in some affected communities.

A victims who escaped from captivity in Niger State explained that both captives and some members of the armed groups were battling various illnesses in the camps.

He added that lack of medicines and access to healthcare services in the forest worsened the situation, leaving many in critical condition, noting that crisis gives the security operatives an edge to launch operations against the terrorist groups.
