Niger NUJ Mourns the Death of the Wife of Council Vice Chairman

The Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ Niger State Council Dr Abu Nmodu has mourned the death of Mrs Elizabeth Gogo Gana, wife of the  Vice Chairman of the Council Comrade Uriah Gana.

In a condolence message issued by the State Secretary of NUJ Comrade Usman Chiji, Dr Abu Nmodu described the demise of Mrs Elizabeth Gana as shocking and devastating.

He explained that, every death is painful but it is more heartbreaking when it affects a loved one especially a wife.

Dr Abu Nmodu described the deceased as a pious and devoted Christian who committed her entire life to the service of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The State Chairman of NUJ said the Union shares this moment of grief with the Vice Chairman , Gaba community and entire people of Lavun local government area.

Dr Nmodu urged the vice chairman not to be deterred by the death of his wife, rather be consoled by the fact that, she lived a life expected from a good Christian.

He noted that, late Mrs Elizabeth Gogo Gana will not only be missed by the family, her friends and  colleagues but the media industry in particular.

The  NUJ Chairman admonished Comrade Uriah Gana to see the inevitablity of death in the demise of his wife adding that, nothing happens without the knowledge of God.

He then prayed God to forgive the deceased her shortcomings, rest her soul in the bossom of the Lord Jesus Christ and the family, the strength to bear the irreparable loss.
